Classical violinist and LED electric violinist

Alleya is a violinist based in London and performs professionally worldwide. During her time in London, she has participated in a wide array of productions. Alleya performed on The X Factor UK in 2017 as part of an all-female ensemble supporting singer Grace Davies. She performed on camera and recorded for the Lidl Christmas Advert Campaign in 2018. In 2019, Alleya performed live as part of the band for Bijan Mortazavi on Manoto TV for Nowruz. She’s recorded numerous times at Abbey Road Studios and Metropolis Studios. In Summer 2019, she performed in the orchestra for Rick Wakeman’s sold out, double performance of Journey To The Center of The Earth at Royal Festival Hall. She also performed as part of the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival at the Cork Opera House later that year (2019). Alleya joined the band for Rebecca Ferguson’s 2020 UK tour as solo violinist. Weeks later she performed with So Solid Crew for their 21 Years Reunion Show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. In 2020 and 2021, Alleya focused mainly on remote recording work. She recorded several pieces for Jordan Rees (EMI) to be used in television and videogames. Alleya also performed in music videos for Big Zuu and Duran Duran and performed live for the 2021 Manoto TV special for Nowruz featuring Sahar Moghaddas, Sogand Soheili, Mehran Atash and Alireza Saremi. At the start of the year, Duran Duran’s cover of ‘Five Years’ by David Bowie was released on the global livestream Mike Garson’s ‘Just For One Day’ tribute to David Bowie and featured Alleya’s string group Solas Strings.

In 2021, Alleya joined The Urban Soul Orchestra and performed in their Classic Ibiza Summer Tour in 2021, 2022 and 2023 as well as their performance with London Community Gospel Choir at The Royal Albert Hall in December 2021. Alleya also toured with D26 Music as a solo violinist operating as the house band for Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kajilal, Mohd Danish and Sayli Kamble in their first UK Arena Tour in late 2021. Alleya recorded with The Script for a violin feature on their acoustic release of ‘Paint The Town Green’ for St. Patrick’s Day 2022.

Alleya finished 2022 with a headline performance at Caesar’s Palace in Dubai for the fireworks launch. The following June, Alleya performed at Glastonbury Music and Arts Festival with indie-pop artist Alex Hall. In 2023 she recorded for Take That’s upcoming studio album ‘This Life’. She also played alongside Burna Boy for his album release at the Roundhouse Camden celebrating his #1 album ‘I Told Them’.

Alleya relocated from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois to London, England in Autumn 2017. She is currently pursuing session work from classical to pop and commercial to private events. Alleya is currently taking bookings through 2024.

Recording at Abbey Road Studios

Alleya began learning violin at a young age, studying under Margaret Escobar and later with Emelinda Escobar. Her professional studies began at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance. She studied under Megan Freivogel and the Jupiter Quartet in solo performance and chamber ensemble. Alleya performed with the University of Illinois Symphony Orchestra from 2013 to 2017, under the direction of Donald Schleicher, where she focused on developing standard repertoire and expanding to modern works, such as recording for composer Augusta Thomas Reed. She joined the University of Illinois Electric Strings Ensemble for multiple performances as alumni at the 10-day Bayreuth Young Artists festival in Bayreuth, Germany.

Alleya has worked as a session musician recording, playing and touring with several independent bands and is constantly expanding her diverse portfolio for soliciting groups. Her work has led her to perform at The Pride of Britain Awards, The London Cabaret Club, The Pygmalion Festival, Audiotree, DoCha Chamber Festival, and tours throughout North America. She has recorded for tracks for Shawn Stockman, Danny O’Donoghue, Guy Farley, Jordan Rees, Craigie Dodds, The Northern Film Orchestra and many more.
